An accessory ring available in Canon EOS mount which converts the lens mount of your SLR camera to a T-Mount. I just received my T-Mount, and discovered that it is a Vivitar, not an Opteka. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, so I don't know if it will have the threading problems that some Vivitar pieces are reported to have, but be ware.

I ordered the Opteka T-mount adapter from the Video and Camera Center to connect my Canon 40D body to a microscope adapter. The Video and Camera Center instead sent me a Vivitar knock off (has Vivitar silk screened on it and was stuffed into a Vivitar box) - probably made in China. The threads do not fit the camera tube adapter. The microscope seller said this was an inferior piece of equipment, poorly machined and not appropriate for my purposes. I have no idea whether the Opteka T-Mount adapter is worth buying - but beware the seller - Video and Camera Center. I recommend going to a local camera store if you are trying to do something as complicated and intricate as connecting a camera to a microscope.

The Opteka T-mount adapter is the most durable and heaviest one I've seen. I was skeptical about how strong it could be, but once it arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised. It was very sturdy, solid, and inserted into my Canon EOS Rebel T1i smoothly with a secure lock. Attached to a visual back adapter into my scope, it easily supports my camera and is very secure and tight. There's some beef to this ring. It's not cheaply made. I will first consider Opteka for other adapters I may need in the future.

I am Very upset because I asked to Amazon to delivered my stuff in 1 one day. The order was asked in 02/19 but you just sended to me on 02/23, in this day i wasn't in this destination anymore, because I had come back to my country.
I really want to know why you put a place to us choose when we want to recive the stuff if you doesnt comply with the date we choose.
Now I really have a problem! I dont have my stuff, I am in nother country (Brazil), You charged my credit card, and now you tell me that this problem isnt more from your side, an it's now betweeen me and 47th Street Photo. Please could you give me one good news and help with this problem.

Purchased this for my Canon Digital Rebel XS so that I can mount the camera on my Celestron telescope. Received VERY quickly from 47th Street Photo. Adaptor fits the camera and the C90 T-mount (from Celestron) perfectly and is very well made and solid. Now I just have to get out and do some stargazing!
